Components in Aluminum alloy in sand casting process

The normal called sand casting, refers to the sand molded casting, which features by using sand as the mold material.
The usual applied materials can be cast iron, cast steel, cast aluminum, only with difference of the sand quality in the 
specific production of different material of casting.



The basic processes of sand casting include:

1. Place a pattern in sand to make a mold  
2. Incorporate the pattern and sand in a gating system
3. Remove the pattern  
4. Fill the mold cavity with molten metal
5. Wait the metal to cool down  
6. Break away the sand mold and remove the casting 

Components in aluminium made in sand casting, can gain very good surfaces, and reach good required quality
by the quality sand used, and the proper operation of the modelling of the patterns, also required temperature of the 
molten matal.
